The love of God has drawn you, and the power of the Holy Spirit has led you to click this tab to read this note at this time.
In the nutshell, when God created the human race, He gave each of us a free will, so that we each have the right to choose whether we will believe His Word or not. Each of us will decide to serve Him or not to serve Him, to follow Him or not to follow, to obey Him or to disobey. For that reason, the decision that you are about to make is life-changing.
God is One God who has and will always exist in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This mystery is essential in your understanding of what it means to be born again.
God loves the human race, but He cannot be united with sin. When the first sin was committed, access to God was broken and the human race was lost. There was no longer a way for humans to be united and in right standing with God. God is so holy, that one sin separated the entire human race eternally from Him.
But just as one sin tainted the human race, one act of obedience by One Man, who was totally Holy and totally human has given us righteousness. (See Romans, chapter 5.) If we believe on Him and put our trust in Him, we can be saved.
For this reason, God manifested His love for us by sending His Son, who is totally One with God, to become flesh (human) and to dwell among us. This meant that Holy God was now a part of the human race. As our representative, He took on the form of a servant, lived a sinless life and then accepted the penalty for our sins. He accepted the guilt of the entire human race and paid the price for our sins, which was death.
After three days, Jesus arose from the dead and is alive eternally as our Saviour, Lord and High Priest. When we believe in Him and put our faith in Him, the power of His holy life redeems us and reconnects us to God. When Jesus ascended into heaven, the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, descended and lives in the hearts of every one who puts accepts the sacrifice that Jesus made and the price that Jesus paid. The Holy Spirit transforms us in our spirit and gives us new life. We are born again (see the gospel of John, chapter 3).
Here are a few scriptures that will help you to understand and decide:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”(Romans 3:23 KJV).
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23 KJV).
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8 KJV).
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV).

Create a clean heart in me through the Blood of Jesus. I put my trust in You. Holy Spirit, please come and live in my heart. Lead me and guide me. Father, I thank you for saving me. I am born again in Jesus Name! You are my Savior and my Lord. Amen.
