Although this is my first experience with blogging, it is not my first experience as a writer. I take my writing very seriously, and I am about to take my blogging seriously. I will even dare to say to you that I was born to blog! I am not a blogging expert, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to learn how to share with you some things that I am very passionate about, and to do so in a way that is relevant, effective and practical.
Okay, now if I was born to blog, then you must have been born to give me some feedback!! I need your comments. You will have to give me some regular feedback about your experience with me as a blogger. I need to know that I am doing more than just sending messages out into cyberspace. I need to know that I am communicating effectively with you and that my blogs are making a difference in your lives. If that is a deal, then I am ready to begin my journey as a blogger. Let’s move forward.
First of all, I have met and talked to at least a gazillion people who believe that the Bible is either irrelevant, impractical, tedious, boring, vague or difficult to understand! Even Christians who go to church every Sunday often have lost interest in the Bible, do not read it, do not study it, and do not understand it. Many years ago, I used to feel the same way; but now, I am so passionate about the Word of God and so amazed at how many people have lost interest in the Bible that I want to blog about it.
Here are my goals for this blog: 1) To encourage you in your faith; 2) To help you to find practical advise from the Bible that will keep your faith strong during busy and challenging times; 3) To identify common hindrances to your faith, so that you can move forward with confidence in your walk with God.
I am willing to do whatever it takes to get people to fall in love with the Word of God and to learn how to apply the Bible to the everyday challenges of life! I was born to blog, and I hope you were born to blog with me.
