Complete In Christ Moment: “Encouraging Single Christians”

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling , and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen” (Jude 24-25 KJV). I have always had a heart to encourage Christians who are single, I guess because I myself walked as a single Christian for so many years. I understand the specific strategies and lies that satan uses against singles to distract and hinder them. The worst temptations that you face are from those carnal churchgoing Christians who have not bothered to sanctify themselves or to make the sacrifice that you have made to walk uprightly before the Lord. These are they that creep into your lives when you are weak, weary, lonely, discouraged or depressed. These are they who don’t realize that satan is using them; they don’t mean any harm. They have deceived themselves (James 1:22) because they hear the Word of God but they do not practice it; therefore, they can now be used by the enemy to deceive others. If you have become weary as a single Christian, Be Encouraged!! God is on your side. Do not focus upon your mistakes. Move forward and focus on God’s Word. If you stumble, remember that we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous (1 John 2:1). Your most severe trials come when you are close to victory. Again I say, Rejoice in the Lord (Philipppians 4:4). And feel free to mention to your tempters, that Ms. Theresa said, “Woe unto you! Get your hands off the children of God who are trying to live in holiness. Woe unto you!!” God have mercy on them! Pray for them, because those whom satan has deceived in order to trick you or cause you to stumble are really in big trouble and need your prayers. Ask God to have mercy on them, but you have to rebuke the devil! Press on singles. You have the victory.
